Google Chrome-The (free!) browser used on student Chromebooks at Bailey Middle School. Each user can have their own profile to avoid sharing documents, videos, bookmarks, etc. but have access to bookmarks and files wherever they are. Click here for a short video on creating individual profiles.
Read and Write for Google-A Google Chrome extension provided free to your student that reads aloud documents (not PDFs) and even webpages. Students sign in to Chrome using their student ID and password and the purple puzzle piece will appear on the extensions bar. Mindflash-test-taking tips and strategies for all levels.
Compass Learning-a terrific practice and remediation tool. Compass Learning generates activities based on MAP testing, so activities are personalized for each student's area(s) of need. As they master topics, the level of work goes up and/or they move to new topics. Both math and language arts activities are available.
